To A girl i know as unknown..

I check you...
Your kindness...
Your words...
Thick, no...
Full and full of color, painted lips-
I almost fell asleep in your slumber...
My ears tune into your melody...
I delve into your summer...
You kiss my salty skin-
you are wet or is that high humidity...
My head houses your acoustics...
The stars swoon and fall, burning into oblivion
to be close to you...
I watch you smile,
calling the nearby sun to rise-
Bright...chasing...
lingering to catch a glimpse of you between the clouds...
Feverishly searching your bodice for the real you...
Blind hands learn the braille of your beauty..
velvet textures turn to living temptations feeling your lilac lips..
But sets simmering, because even a desire so passionate...
unpretentious...brave...so true-
Could possibly scathe the soft dew from your lips...
...I'll catch you...

"Lime Light (true I)"

Just been something I've been contemplating on sharing for a Lil' minute...I really have to apologize for the delay...
I woke one morning thinking about better days and thoughts for the future and it hit me-I'm not the type to be out front..When you can peep a scene from a distance you truly get a glimpse at people's TRUE personalities. This is especially true if you're cool with stars or people with a following. Nowadays, more than ever celebrity is something hard sought after and not the grind or smarts needed to maintain this delicate terrain. Now there's nothing wrong with celebrity, it's just not for everyone (NOT FOR EVERYONE-I REPEAT). Be truthful to yourself and watch for the fake, and the ILL-wishers who fill your mind with NO and CAN'T, and are waiting to kill your dreams...

"Lime Light (True I)"

I peer into the darkness...
only to find myself still looking...
waiting...expectant...
once pregnant thoughts, punctured by the breach of my lips...
my tongue, an umbilical to new born concepts, except now I can see something in the distance...
What I knew to be true, minus probable cause, verified by the greed of a hungry jury of peers,
confirmed by the stars in their eyes..
because I am their reflection...
A reality only met when they take focus from themselves or close their eyes..
But if they were to see my I's, well, there are a few things which could never be...
I emerge from my void amongst the back drop of darkness, into the blinding lights...
Lost in the twinkle...constellations..
I'm a comet-burning furiously..
Bright out, dim within..
a small supernova of insecurities, girded with strength to sustain my hard frame...
not you, yet-well, maybe, but a few know my true I's...
my tired I's, masked by a front...
my melancholy mood, marred by a faint stain of fleeting excitement...
Still, I muster a smile and pay attention to empty questions, by full of shit reporters, leaving answers of ambiguity...
Another night of photos...
daps, hugs, mojitos and model hoes, not because they are-just wearing one's uniform..
people talking about their ends, turn to the DJ's last spins and last sips before vultures settle over fresh legs...
pouty lips conceal warm smiles and forked tongues...
hot, strong thighs from squeezing bodies til drained...
life fluids now expelled, leaving the victim in detention for 18 years plus...
maybe...
But then you realize it's all about green,
until you go yellow...

This is just a public service announcement brought to you by H&$!

Randomness..

Looking..
Liking loving for the feeling...
Feeling like this could be what the right Love might look like..
Gotta stigmatism in my Left, so excuse me if I squint...
What we figured not to be, became an actuality..
surprising me and wrapping me in ur web.....
full brown eyes and matching skin..
lets not forget how
white you turn
when the lights get turned
off--from the moon....
excited as a Groom's "I Do"
and more anxious than the two's honeymoon...
turned on by her lips, sweetier than honeydew..
and the way she rocks her hips, in ways only honey do...
standing before lying, whispering vows our hearts know before she's riding...
tonight 'turns and change words to phrases....until both screams vowels..."Oh"
I reach for the wheel while she gives my Big Boi The Love Below..
all the while she grips the sheets like tires on streets as I please her Speakerboxxx......
only to crash out of control....
...too bad our stations are on different frequencies...
although i think of her frequently...
for reasons beyond freaking me, and I, she...
ignorance can't be bliss if knowing is half the battle....
i raise my white flag....

Sunday's Breeze (a lil'something to start the day)

So recently I've been listening to the 88Keys album Death of Adam (Great cinema/story-teller album btw) and I've really been stuck on this song "Dirty Peaches" featuring J'Davey. The song has a great sway but the enjoyable part about the song is the very real message behind the lyrics. Kinda got me thinking...and Creativity births creativity.....so i'll cut the stalling...

Damn....
...........damn........
I fell asleep next to nothing, but awoke to a Breeze's touch...
...nothing because although no one was there, your presence was felt....
Residue of pillowed tears to pacified sexual desires litter here....where-ever that is...
......shhhhhh........the sound of the room's breathing...
Exhaling through an open window....rushed....like the breaths that pushed past your full lips...
..........heavy--it reminds me of how my heart tries to catch up with my senses...
merely feeble attempts though...
Caught amongst crashing currents of misunderstandings...
Miscues...our mistakes....
........I think I even miss those.....
They were replaced by us listening to each
others needs...
Your need to teach has been substituted by a thorough lesson plan...
....minus words....passion heightened by the number of beauty marks I find all over your body...
Equates to catastrophic bliss.....
I search for notes along your neck and collar bone...along with the notes on my hands.....
Yes.....I know what to do with it....
Now, you.....your legs....body...recognizes my approach...
After prior preparation with a little Teacher's Aid technique, I've learned you're a sweet pupil too...
You raise your hands only to reach for me--no questions til the end of today's lesson...
Our frustrations turn to our motivation...I know how to get to the bottom of this...
....bells ringing down the halls, taking us to climax...
Don't worry, I'll be sure not to move until you stop sounding...
......But just like the breeze, I know you won't be around for long...
But these sultry NOLA springs sometimes lead to sweltering summers...
...............And when things get hot, you know just how to cross my path....

-sighs- Now to start the day....!@?

5:05am...fried..

My apologies...I've been making moves...learning lessons...a mini-short!

I sang a little tune in the latter portion of the afternoon...After cultivating my thoughts, pruning my day...shaping an ever-changing statue called "Today"...while working my third-eye gave me an idea about "The Future" but "Today" constantly calls my attention..The trouble with this is I'm always concerned with "The Future" but the Foreman pulls me aside from time to time and reminds me if you focus on "Today" (because it will always be your greatest creation) "The Future" will leave a lasting and infamous legacy...

Excuse my delirium....more material coming sooner than later...

W T F M O M E N T ! @ ?

Recently, the New York Post thought it would be funny to run an editorial spoof of a monkey being killed in Cincinnatti after escaping from the Zoo which sparked controversy for alleged references to our new president, Mr.. Obama. After the Post released an apology, R&B artist John Legend weighed in with his 2 Cent of the situation:

(Quote)
Dear Editor:
I’m trying to understand what possible motivation you may have had for publishing that vile cartoon depicting the shooting of the chimpanzee that went crazy. I guess you thought it would be funny to suggest that whomever was responsible for writing the Economic Recovery legislation must have the intelligence and judgment of a deranged, violent chimpanzee, and should be shot to protect the larger community. Really? Did it occur to you that this suggestion would imply a connection between President Barack Obama and the deranged chimpanzee? Did it occur to you that our President has been receiving death threats since early in his candidacy? Did it occur to you that blacks have historically been compared to various apes as a way of racist insult and mockery? Did you intend to invoke these painful themes when you printed the cartoon?
If that’s not what you intended, then it was stupid and willfully ignorant of you not to connect these easily connectable dots. If it is what you intended, then you obviously wanted to be grossly provocative, racist and offensive to the sensibilities of most reasonable Americans. Either way, you should not have printed this cartoon, and the fact that you did is truly reprehensible. I can’t imagine what possible justification you have for this. I’ve read your lame statement in response to the outrage you provoked. Shame on you for dodging the real issue and then using the letter as an opportunity to attack Rev. Sharpton. This is not about Rev. Sharpton. It’s about the cartoon being blatantly racist and offensive.
I believe in freedom of speech, and you have every right to print what you want. But freedom of speech still comes with responsibilities and consequences. You are responsible for printing this cartoon, and I hope you experience some real consequences for it. I’m personally boycotting your paper and won’t do any interviews with any of your reporters, and I encourage all of my colleagues in the entertainment business to do so as well. I implore your advertisers to seriously reconsider their business relationships with you as well.
You should print an apology in your paper acknowledging that this cartoon was ignorant, offensive and racist and should not have been printed.
I’m well aware of our country’s history of racism and violence, but I truly believe we are better than this filth. As we attempt to rise above our difficult past and look toward a better future, we don’t need the New York Post to resurrect the images of Jim Crow to deride the new administration and put black folks in our place. Please feel free to criticize and honestly evaluate our new President, but do so without the incendiary images and rhetoric.
Sincerely,

John Legend

(End Quote)

I guess it is true...sometimes you gotta get away from the piano and REALLY let them know what's going on....???

Just Thinking...

Its approximately 4:09am....up thinking....thinking....about dreaming...how cool it is to close my eyelids and drift past the compound called my room...lost in the lull of hot breath blowing from my vent...under the canopy of shadowed spiderwebs unseen...and just like them, I would spin a slow cascade of blissful blunders...
But no, I'm stuck...stuck to dream about dreams that are unseen...and that brings me to ask myself; why do we look for things that may not be there?? Where does that confidence come from to venture into the unknown?? I think it may be the rush...there is something sinister and sexy about the dark...something that threatens and beacons...cautions but welcoming...and come to think of it, it is always interesting how people change when in the dark...not just literally ( :chuckle: )...but how the most shy or reserved people tend to shed those inhibitions when they are vaguely out of sight...the silhouettes expanding and constricting...the breaths....the eyes...and meanwhile you have been trying to hide what you think are insecurities, but are actual strengths-you just did not know how to express them or did not know you possess the confidence to share it...
More importantly, you realize that if no other time in your life...you've really been experiencing sunshine the whole time...GET EXPOSED!...

The joint is by Nujabes..."Beat Laments the World"....Good night...or is it Good morning??

On lonely nights I start to fade
(On lonely nights I start to fade)
Her love is a thousand miles away
(Her love is a thousand miles away)
Memories made in the coldest winter
Goodbye my friend will I ever love again

Memories made in the coldest winter

it's 4am and I can't sleep
(It's 4am and I can't sleep)
Her love is all that I can see
(Her love is all that I can see)
Memories made in the coldest winter
Goodbye my friend will I ever love again

Memories made in the coldest winter
Winter, winter

Goodbye my friend will I ever love again
Goodbye my friend will I ever love again
Goodbye my friend will I ever love again
Goodbye my friend will I ever love again

If spring can take the snow away
(If spring can take the snow away)
Can it melt away all of our mistakes
(Can it melt away all of our mistakes)
Memories made in the coldest winter
Goodbye my friend I won't ever love again

Never Again
